R.E.S.P.E.C.T. ?

What can I say ? Yet another lame issue of Playboy. It's pretty sad when the most entertaining part of the magazine is reading the Steve Carell interview. The Vegas Showgirls feature sucked. The centerfold is attractive, of course, but the photoshoot and theme sucked out loud. Also, I completely disagree with Jayde Nicole (who intelligently has the word RESPECT tattooed right below her bikini line) being chosen as the 49th Playmate Of The Year. I think I'm going to have to subscribe to SCORE, or BIGG'UNS or something. Even finding the hidden bunny on the cover was unsatisfying.

Joe's Crab Shack is always a fun place to eat, and the food is really good. It is a little pricey, but every once in awhile that's alright. Joe's Crab Shack gets an A - from Heff.

AND IN OTHER, MORE CONCERNING HEFF'S BAR AND GRILL NEWS : The Liquor Six-Shooter of Death had been completely Re-stocked as of today. Grey Goose, Marker's Mark, Crown Royal, Malibu, Bacardi, and Jose Quervo. God Help Me !

Thursday's Thoughts...From The Bar.

Ok, 6pm last night - I'm at home on my back porch relaxing in the sun with beer #4, personally celebrating my 10,000th blog hit as declared in the previous post. It's a beautiful afternoon, the next door neighbors (A Southern Baptist mother and daughter, of course) are out potting plants and such on their patio. Donna pops her head out the back door. "Honey, can I get you anything?" Now, me being the deviant smartass that I am, could say nothing less than "Yes, I'd love a fresh Ice cold beer, and two huge breasts, please." Donna goes back inside and tends to her cooking, as normal. 2 minutes go by as I finish beer #4, and Donna walks out on the deck completely topless with a ice cold Michelob Ultra on a silver serving platter. God Love Her, but I freaked. I looked next door at the neighbors quickly, who were still tending to their plant-potting desires. Even faster I looked back at Donna and yelled at the top of my lungs, "GodDamnit, Honey !" Of Course at that point, the two female Bible-thumping neighbors HAD to look up to see what the commotion was about, and there was Donna, standing at complete attention in all her glory, sporting a empty silver serving platter, and not much else. THE HEFF'S BAR AND GRILL CIRCUS CONTINUES, FOLKS ! Stay Tuned.

Well, not really, but I did get my 10,000th hit today. Not bad for just blogging a little over 6 months this go 'round. Special thanks go out to Me for making it all happen ! How can I celebrate.....I just can't imagine....

Happy 40th Birthday to Nora Louise Kuzma, a.k.a. Traci Lords. This is the post that took down Blog O' Heff II last year, so I'm not going to go into detail about the woman this time around. Let's just say, if you own any of her earlier "work", you hold something pretty collectible.
